- we act with naturally grassed over and machine work of the soil,
- we act with products of low impact on the environment (copper and sulphur),
- minimum use of sulphite in the wines (lower than the level allowed by the organic regulation),
- exclusive use of yeasts isolated by spontaneous local flora,
- the wines production not include clarification, filtration or any kind of process which is not a normal consequence of a natural clarification and stabilisation, including the tartaric stabilisation which takes place into steel tanks outside from the cellar, in the winter time, without using the fridge,
- use of natural cork not washed,
- use of glass light bottles,
- use of light packaging material.
Crussi shows an extraordinary and well- balanced character. It has an intense nose, with notes of blackberry, liquorice, tar, tobacco and spices. In mouth Crussi is full-bodied with fascinating evolved scents due to the ageing in oak barrels. Perfect balance between great purity and complexity.
