COLOUR: Very intense, opaque scarlet, with a perylene violet background and indigo rim.

Tears are thick, dense and pigmented.

NOSE: Very intense with mineral and iodine ever-present, chocolate, black fruit and slate.

PALATE: Tamed potency in the mouth. Black fruit emerge again, and a slight hint of good French oak, with cedar and bitter liquorice stick. One?s gums get impregnated with polished tannins, amiable and intense.

Very enveloping and warm, alcoholic and fruity.

A great wine, with plenty of character and personality. Violets and very ripe grapes. Mulberry appears, and then a long-lasting memory of minerals.

Once again, a very original wine, a chance product of the land and the cellarmaster?s knowledge.
