Viñas Viejas comes from a single plot of Tinto Fino called Pago del Moral. The vines were planted in 1950 in gravel soils intermixed with clay.
Ageing process: After having gone through malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 4 years. (12 months in new oak casks and 36 more in its own bottle).
Appearance: Bigarreau cherry color with great depth.
Nose:Complex aromas balsams intertwined with hints of forest fruit and dried plums. Balanced with teriary aromas, cocoa, licorice and toffe.
Taste: Sweet red fruit, soft spice and silky tannins produce an elegant charm
