Colour: Deep, bright red colour with

the intensity softened by cherry

hueso n the borders.

Aroma: On the nose the wine is

intense and complex with notable

spicy aromas especially of cloves and

black pepper, with hints of toast,

cacao and liquorice. Balsamic aromas

show through against a scented,

floral background, combining

perfectly with an aroma of ripe and

red berry compote.

Taste: The casks contribute fi ne

subtle touches of lignum vitae and

cedar.
