MUNDUS VINI AWARD 2015 - gold medal

An exceptional and original wine, the character and personality of which are due to its ageing in new casks of Hungarian oak ; it has been elaborated with a coupage of Merlot and Syrah previously selected and coming from our vineyards.

An elegant cherry colour with garnet-coloured reflections and purple tones and very marked drops.

Intensely aromatic, bewitching and superb, it has a very attractive aroma transporting us to a wonderful world of sensations. A perfect equilibrated and complex nose where we can feel slight floral notes of violets enhanced with a strong fruity aroma, a mixture of blackberries and blackcurrant together with spicy touches of vanilla and coconut provided by the Hungarian oak.

It has a great personality in mouth, full-bodied and fantastically equilibrated ; we can say that we are in front of a wine to be enjoyed any moment of the day. Fruity notes go together with spicy ones to finally arrive to dried fruits and chocolate aromas.

A very nice aftertaste, warm and very gourmand with a very good body and structure for a wine that can be kept in bottle for years.

Adequate for any situation and with red meat, game and other dishes combined with sauces.
