Delightfully pleasant and perfectly balanced: ripe fruit wrapped in fine, elegant wood. A wine that goes with all kinds of meals and lets you enjoy them to the full.

Made with 90% Tempranillo and 10% Garnacha grapes picked manually in three of our our vineyards: Paraje 3 Marqueses (1998) in Varea and Las Canteras (1986) and Santa Ana (1998) in Murillo de Río Leza.

The grapes are separated from the cluster and placed in a tank where they are left for 48 hours at a temperature between 5 and 10 °C. Subsequently, fermentation (transforming sugar into alcohol) takes place at low temperatures. Our way of mixing the skins, seeds and liquid is through an innovative system of breaking up the cap by submerging it completely in the liquid. This way we extract more colour and aromas from the grapes. Second fermentation (malolactic fermentation) takes place in stainless steel tanks.

To age the wine, we keep it in 225-litre French oak barrels for a year and then transfer it to bottles, where it achieves its characteristic roundness and balance without losing its fresh, fruit-forward nature.

What will you find? A round, balanced, fresh, tasty wine." Dark-cherry red; clean and bright. Noticeable ripe fruit (peaches, cherries) and even mint and chocolate. In the mouth, it is delicious, pleasant, intense, harmonious and romantic; a tremendous wine.

Drink it when you most fancy it, alone or with company, in summer, in winter, with your girlfriend or your boyfriend, standing, sitting, dancing! While eating or chatting. But always drink it at the right temperature (16-18 °C) and enjoy the wine which, in addition to tasting good, is good for the heart! (And can be uninhibiting at crucial moments...)
